To my frens and family on the mainland....As you may have heard from the news media. We are getting some tropical storms, hurricanes. Right now its rainy and the wind just came up. Today earlier it was humid, light rain and sometimes real still...the calm before the storm. Well I was calm, cool and collected until I listened to the news media. Oh shit, I ran out the door to Longs, Walmart, Walgreens. Trying to find water. Well water is a hot commodity here, $3.98 for a 6 pak. I went home and filed up my containers w/good ole tap water. I did join the crowds in buying toilet paper and plastic plates in case we get our water turned off. Of course, put gas in my car in case I decide to go for a drive. LOL Thats Gails news report on Maui Storm report. Ill keep you guys updated if I dont fall asleep. PS. I bought some nice scented candles just in case. ;)
