When you were posting pics eating oxtails and goat, we had to eat oodles and noodles. So youre not hungry like me! You said that youll eat whether you sell books or not. Well, I wont. I either sell books or starve and die in this mfka! So, youre not as committed as me! I have no other option. Books represent my only chance at freedom. I write for my comrades Anthony Fields, Author Dutch, Cole Hart, Said Salaam, Hood Chronicles, Richie Success, Victor L Martin and so many more thats in the belly of the beast. I write for the fans who have family behind bars. And when I write you feel the emotions of a man who has been imprisoned 23 years. They feel my pain, my hurt, my loss. I write with the heartache of having not seen some of my children since they were babies. I write to be able to help free my son who is facing a murder charge. I write with the guilt of not being there to save him because I was in prison. I write for the women who love a thug but just wanna be loved back and rewarded for their loyalty. You write for fun. I write to breath. It is my only way not to be forgotten. You couldnt win because you wrote from the mind while I write from the heart. Real shit!
