To my wonderful Dad in loving memory. 30 years ago today you left us and still to this day I feel you always in my heart. You taught me to always do and to be the best I could be. You taught me to ride a bike without training wheels, let me try 50 times one Sunday to get up on water skis even though it was your day off, and after 49 times I was ready to quit! Every Sunday morning you woke us up to John Phillips Souza, making sure we made it to church. You taught me love of Patriotism by raising and lowering our American flag every day, and then revertly folding it, making sure all folds were exactly correct. You made sure I knew how to change a tire and drive a stick shift before I could take the car, and the 1st time I was late for my curfew, you said it would be my last time, and of course it was! You stood by me in thickness and thin, and I will love you forever for that. Because of you, I can use a hammer, hang curtains, love boats, have to have water near me wherever I live, attend church, and try to live as you lived and loved our country by never giving up on it. You truly are my hero, and eveything I will always be, because you are my hero! Semper Fi with all my love!
