To our wonderful staff team, Hey guys. I just wanted to tell you guys how grateful I am that you take the time to hang out, moderate, help out, and talk in Tastycat. Youve built an amazing community over the past two years, and whether youve only just joined us recently, or youve been around since the beginning, youve all contributed to making this the biggest, most active, and Id say one of the friendliest and most welcoming communities on plug.dj. Your task may seem trivial to most, and maybe even a joke, but I know its not the case. You answer the same questions over and over. You have to help all the new plug.dj users that join us first. You stay up a few minutes later because no one else is around. You talk to users to keep the chat going. You come up with awesome ideas and suggestions to improve the community. You have to deal with drama and fights while keeping a cool head. You have to deal with other communities looking down on you because you like Tastycat. But you know what? I think its worth it. We arent just that one room everyone joins only because it has the most people. Its not just because weve got two huge Youtube channel names in the communitys title. Its not the damn cat skins or the party boat background on lake Ontario. Anyone can join any community, but what makes them really stick to Tastycat, what makes them keep coming back for more, what drives them to us over other rooms, at the bottom line, is you. Yeah, you. Youre the glue that keeps us all together. All of us who hang out to listen to tunes, chat with random strangers from all over the world, share our latest music findings, and talk to new and old friends that weve met in here. Youre the ones that everyone looks up to. You truly make this community a possibility; without you, it wouldnt be close to being the same, especially if you were replaced. I want to make sure you realize just how vital you were and are to the growth of our little corner so many of us call home. Im so glad to call myself a part of this whole thing. Ive made dozens, if not hundreds, of fantastic friends in this community. We all have. Youve carried me through highs as well as lows, youve made me laugh and cry, youve called me a joke and praised me a hero. A year ago today, I was given the opportunity to become a Manager in Tastycat, and I cant stress enough how much it means to me now. I was given the chance to not only hang out with amazing people and watch the community grow, but to also make it grow, bring about changes, and mold it to my vision of how great Tastycat can be. If you were around last year around Christmas, you may remember the post I wrote on the Facebook page. I remember wishing for a year 2014 that is just as amazing as 2013, and I cant say I was disappointed. Seriously, thank you for doing what you do, for being here, and for being straight up awesome. I was never really good at conclusions, so Ill just say this: lets keep this train going. Were showing no signs of slowing down. At least itll last longer than the chill trains or the trance trains. ;) -Fungus
