To quote one of my favorite musicians and New Orleans native, Dr. John, it was such a night at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. First off it was the opening of the Currents 2014 exhibition of which I am honored to be a part of. The juror, Roy Flukinger, gave a wonderful talk about each of the 15 artists that compose this exhibit. Following the opening was the annual portfolio walk where 70 photographers displayed their work to the public. Many stopped by my station with kind remarks that inspire me to continue what I love to do. Thank you to the New Orleans Photo Alliance, Mr. Roy Flukinger, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and Photo NOLA for participating and hosting such a wonderful event. I look forward to next year.
