To save lives, animals in shelters need for people to do two different things: 1)Directly take animals out of harms way through rescue and 2)Reform shelters through legislation, litigation & political advocacy -Nathan Winograd Without volunteers, fosters & rescue groups involved having the FREEDOM to speak up for reform, more dogs will be going out the back door in body bags. It is our First Amendment Right to speak out our concerns about a government entity & our constitutional right for us to expect the government to fix the problems that are reported to them.
