To student and people who are running SFUAD. For people who dont know me, my name is Phat Le. I have been studied here at SFUAD for 2 years. People who know me understand that I do not care much about things outside of the art building. But for the past 2 days, I have heard plenty of reactions about the issue of 250$ fine and I think I should say something about this. Understanding that as an art student, we love to express ourselves. But things have their limitations and we need to respect that as a community. We do not want to live in a school where everyone get away with things they need to be responded. We all above 18 years old, please at least try to think like one and be responded for things we did. Therefore, the school itself have to understand the responsibility you are holding in your hands. You are, as people who run the school, need to remember our parents believe in you to teach us how to be a good individual in this life. So far with all the punishment and fines, personally I do not think that accurate for that purpose. What you are doing, as you might think as keeping school in order, in fact having the opposite reaction from our community. How do you think the fines will affect to the student? I am questioning the ability of organize of our school now since it hasnt been the first time this happened. And I am also questioning where is the money goes to and what will we do with those money? If you are going to fine us, we should have the right to know where will our money go to. Please take time to consider my suggestions, to both student and people who are running SFUAD. Please keep the school as it should be a place to study, not a place for fighting and punishing. Sincerely, Phat Le.
