To the People Who Bash Women Who Get Food Stamps/TennCare/Families First: Just finished up History-114 and I just wanted to say that I am so sick and tired of reading other peoples post, especially women and these women have KIDS!, bashing other women for getting welfare as everyone likes to call it. Welfare this, welfare that.That word makes me so sick.Let me fill some of you uneducated people in.Now raise your hand if you know the answer,you will get a sticker if your right.First off,why the hell mothers bashing others mothers? Yes I realize some dont deserve a thing but ya know what? If that peice of crap mom didnt get those food stamps every mth cuz she a dope head then WHO feeds her 2yr old? Are YOU going to? And let me tell you men and women wth WELFARE is....its a whopping $142 a effin MONTH,can u read cause i typed the word MONTH. If you want $142 for the MONTH,you have to comply with DHS in driving around 30hrs a WEEK job search. Ok well someone explain to me how you do that with no gas? There is a daycare assistance program available.ITs NOT WELFARE.TAXPAYERS have 0 to do with it.It is funded by Douglas Cherokee and based on the mothers income a co-payment is PAID by the mom,not anyone else.And TnCare,I realize some of you are mad you dont have it.But these kids deserve it reguardless.How you going to call TnCare welfare? If your a SINGLE mom,some you do not have the options you have when your married.I understand people can be married and broke but guess what? Just like everyone tells single moms,I am telling married families complaining about money:get a second job.Finally, you people leave those that cant afford to eat alone.Who are you to judge them? I dont see or hear or ANYONE doing crap for anyone to feed them.All I hear is complaining cause ppl get to eat.CHILDREN get to eat.If you really wanna complain about who is getting a 100% free ride,free food,free housing,free housing,free clothes,free electric all at the expense of taxpayers,pick up a pen and write the Sevier County Jail.
