This word of encouragement from God helps us see how Christ also suffered in the flesh and how we should arm ourselves with the same purpose. Does that sound strange to you? Friend, he who suffers in the flesh has ceased from sin! Wow! Through Christs sacrifice, we can now live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. Read 1 Peter 4 and look at what God says about suffering and glory and how we can live the rest of the time in the flesh for the will and glory of God.
