To the members on Quilting page: So I just got a Janome 4120 QDC. I sewed on it for the first time this evening (LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!!). My Jack Russell did NOT like something about it ! She was trembling nonstop, she was panting as if she had run a mile, nervous as could be. If I leaned in very close to the machine, I could hear a very faint tone of some sort from the machine. Dogs hearing is so much more acute than ours ma - for you folks out there with dogs, have you ever had anything like this happen?? This behavior began within 5 minutes of turning the machine on, and quit less than 5 minutes after I turned it off.... Im at a loss. Im not going to be a happy mama if this bothers her every time I turn the machine on !!! :-(
