To the tune of Dirty Old Town by The Dubliners (written by Ewan MacColl) When I was young, We had a swimming baths. Where we all went, For a swim and a laugh. Then the Council thought, That it cost too much. So they knocked it down, So they knocked it down. Then along came BLAB, Bolsover Leisure And Baths. A great idea, Rebuild it at last. But the plans went awry, So the Council said, They want to build it in Clowne, They want to build it in Clowne. We want it back, We want our swimming baths. They sold our Sherwood Lodge, And they’ve got our cash. So Bolsover Council, You should build it now, In Bolsover Town, In Bolsover Town. youtube/watch?v=BuRw7n9TEDk
