To those creating pseudo profiles just to haul insults at me or claim to know me, I have only this to say- you know nothing about me; you know so little about yourself and where you came from, so to hell with you and your cohorts. In case you care to know, I live a modest, but very decent and honest life. I am a Gambian and I have the right to disagree with my government as dictated by our constitution. And when that government encroaches with our freedom and civil liberties, we are obligated to speak up and organize to effect the necessary changes. Therefore, you can call me unpatriotic or a terrorist, but it wont bother me one bit. Nelson Mandela, one of the greatest leaders of our time, was called a terrorist and placed on the US terror list until recently. Martin Luther King Jr was called a radical and a communist. I am not in any way putting myself at the level of these great leaders, but its a mere reminder to those in the struggle that when you set out to do something noble, people will attack you unnecessarily in order to discourage you, but you shouldnt let their words hurt, deter, or hinder you. Stay resolve and remember that the long road to freedom is not for the feeble or weak souls; and we may get weary, but we shall stay resolved and committed to our mission- that is, to end dictatorship and oppression in our beloved Gambia. I dont know exactly how we will achieve this, but I have no aorta of doubt that it can be achieved. In the end, we shall overcome! And freedom will reign from Banjul to Koina, from Barra to Lamin Koto. And from the sandy beaches of Bakau to the foothills of Bansang; from the rice fields of Jahali Parcharr to the highlands of Basse, let freedom reign. You can deny us many things, but denying us our unalienable rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness is total disservice to humanity as a whole.
