To those who inquired about the It Takes a Village Project in Dixie Estates it has been put on hold. I was contacted by several residents who informed me that the manager got rid of one of the basketball goals. I discussed this with him a month ago and he felt that the goals were attracting too many kids and teenagers. This is after we had a mutual agreement to install the basketball goals. I paid for both goals out of pocket and will not waste money trying to help someone who obviously doesnt want or need it. The plan to purchase brand new swing sets is still in effect however we must decide on whether to place them at Dixie or another location that will get good use out of them. Thanks for your patience and understanding on this manner, I will keep everyone posted.
