To what to most of us, comes as a festival of joy and light, there are some to who its just another day...normal daily chores...while we relish sweets they search for some leftovers, a basic sqaure meal..we give and take gifts, they pick garbage for that would mean a few rupees for some basic need...we celebrate by lighting, turning our homes and neighbourhood to a bright illuminating world, while the darkness of their hearts never fade away...and we wake up next day, having spend thousand on crakers, the next day in the warm cozy beds of our homes,,they search for tits and tatters and something to cover themselves up with...a blanket here and there, picked up from dump or given by someone...what is needed this diwali is to illuminate some lives, cherish sweets with those who do not know the taste of it, give a gift of food or clothes to the needy and most of all to spend on a cozy blanket than lots of crackers...for diwali means light and what better to illuminate lives of our fellow beings :)
