To whom it may concern, Newcastle Surf Life Saving Club is the oldest club in the Hunter and arguably one of the most historic surf clubs in not only the region but also Australia. Since 1908, Newcastle SLSC has been devoted to protecting one of the busiest beaches in Northern NSW along with nurturing the talents of its members from nippers to national and even the Olympic level athletes with notable names including INSERT NAMES HERE and more recently, Australian Olympic swimmer, Thomas Fraser-Holmes. In 2013/14, Newcastle SLSC is looking to re-enter surfboat competition for the first time in HOW MANY years and is seeking HOW MUCH MONEY in sponsorship to fund a more modern surfboat to compete in. The crew of five has been training up to five times a week using the club’s very old fashioned boat within the port of Newcastle and on the beaches of Nobby’s and Newcastle. We would be grateful if you helped in supporting the club by providing sponsorship to the club in order to do this. In return for your kind contribution, we can offer extensive community engagement alongside signage opportunities in the form of exclusive hull detailing as well as the positioning of your logo upon our training apparel.
