Tocotrieniols, which together with tocopherols make up the vitamin - TopicsExpress

Tocotrieniols, which together with tocopherols make up the vitamin E complex, have been shown to preferentially accumulate in specific organs and tissues including the brain and liver. The vitamin E fraction was noted by researchers to improve models of fatty liver disease. They also suggested that the increased accumulation in brain tissue may indicate its neuroprotective properties as well. Lack of impulse control and poor planning skills are symptoms often associated with the condition and as such, can lead to poor food choices and irregular eating habits.
