Today (August 28) my youngest daughter Chloe turned 12. Her last year before she becomes a *teen*. I cant believe it. My baby and the apple of my eye. We have not been more that a several feet apart when home together, since she was still crawling. If my first two children are blue and chill, Chloe is red and sanguine. Emotional, spirited, temperamental, and a sweetheart. She never asks for something that does not need to be doubled for her brother or a friend, and her first thought is to share or to help or participate. We could drive up to a random park or playground and she will have a very good friend within several minutes. I cannot leave and drive away without holding my hand out the window in the I love you sign until we have lost sight of each other. Shes my cooking buddy, my caretaker, my stubborn and graceful daredevil. Her no means NO and will not be altered without quite an effort. I could wallpaper a house with all the pictures, sticky notes, and letters she has given me over the years. If you see me smile randomly, its probably because a thought of her flashed by or one of her
