Today, BBW volunteers delivered books t9 3 schools in the Cantarrana area of Honduras, a very beautiful rural area that had lots of cows , horses, and fields of sugar cane. We drove several hours on very curvy roads up into beautiful, forested areas of Honduras. The school children and especially their teachers were very excited to get books. We read together. I thought that the book about different kinds of dinosaurs might cause a riot, as a group of boys huddled around it, thrilling to explanations of tyranasaurus rex. The 3 schools had a TOTAL of 8 books for the kids, but now each has more than 50. Curious George, Mickey Mouse, and dinosaurs , plus much more!!!
