Today: Barge cruise down San Antonios tiny river, visit the Alamo, try to find non-Jesus programming on the rental casitas big teevee. Having a good time - but it appears lovely Riverwalk hides the fact that half the towns boarded up. We are in a neighborhood that was solid, blue collar industrial. Now the factories are all abandoned, and the area (sweet, but run-down) is next in line for gentrification. Ten years from now, this place will be upscaled apartments and coffee shops.
