Today, Dec. 3 is a special day for me...its the anniversary when I paved my path to US citizenship, thanks to my wife and her family. It was the day that the Lord has made for me... the day filled with excitement, the benefits of citizenship also comes with the rights to vote. But when a friend found out that I registered my political affiliation as a Republican, she became paranoid and said this, Now That You are In, you can close the Border.....referring to a notion that republicans are racist & anti-immigrant. The mainstream media have successfully demonized the republicans... consequently almost 100% of filipinos living in the states are democrats.... and friends wonder why am I a republican.... and why, if you ask? Because I worked with a lot of them and I know they are great people... they make decisions even if its not so popular. Whereas Democrats, in my opinion, are the modern day Pontius Pilate.... they make decisions base on who can scream the loudest.
