Today I am grateful!! I woke up this morning feeling an overwhelming feeling of gratitude!! Strange that I feel so thankful that god put Preston and this difficult situation on me. I have recently had a few rather difficult foster babies in our home, they come from such different,, bad situations. Some come to us with not quite as severe physical difficulties as Preston, but emotionally scarred beyond words. We often times have to work with rehabilitating them emotionally and some are worse than others. I was at a point where I was asking god for patience, understanding, and was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all that I had going on, & thought..... Maybe I need to take a break, step back a little. The night we received the pictures of Preston, And the beg for rescue I knew then it was not a step back that I needed, but a bigger step forward!! I am so grateful that god placed Preston in my life to teach me about true gratitude in ways I have not thought about lately! Take a minute today, and be grateful for the many blessings that god has put on you!!!..... With that, I want to also take a minute and thank each of you for your generous donations towards Prestons recovery! I want to Also give a huge thanks for the donation of Prestons microban, antibacterial bed that was sent to him & a special thank you to Kelly Pollidore for dressing Preston in a new warm and masculine wardrobe!!!
