Today I am in class and Air Staff VTC from the Pentagon is doing a DCO with us. She begins by introducing herself, and suddenly she says, I hear that we have a special person in class. She now works as Keesler AFB with Airmen & Family Readiness. Candace Penney interned with Jody Powell, press secretary for Jimmy Carter. She thanked me for serving the USAF! I was so flattered! #littleoleme More gratitude for Jody Powell, who helped and taught me so much. He was one of the kindest, down to earth people I have ever met.
