Today, I am so very grateful for my daughter Madilyn. She is such a light to this world. I am so honored to have been given the right to assist her in this journey. In her 7 years she has warmed the heart of many. She is so witty and fun. I love the way that she dances around the house and tells jokes. I love how she loves me. I love how she sings her bedtime songs with me, mockingly, but she still wants her LaLaLus every night. I love how she does Sally Lous with her dad, although she is getting a bit too big for them. I love her relationship with her brother and her sense of family and friendship. She has 4 other brothers and sisters that do not live with her and she loves them like she sees them every day. They are in her heart. She keeps pictures of them next to her bed. I am so very proud to be raising such a kind, sweet being. She has not always been this way; in fact she was quite pissed off for the first few years of her life that we even called her Mad Madi. She has grown into a beautiful, smart, funny and loving being that I cherish. I am so proud of the fact that she has been given a voice and she knows that her voice and opinions matter. I love her curiosity and her wonderful energy, which she is full of. At this point in her life, I am so very grateful for her little toothless grin. I absolutely love it. I love to look at her face and see my favorite parts of me. I am so very grateful that she chose me to be her mom. I am also grateful for Chris for helping me create such a beautiful being. Were doing pretty good huh! I am so grateful for my family. I am a fortunate soul.
