Today I celebrate the date God brought my father onto this physical plane and the life he led through the history and memories I know of joyful moments and difficult battles. Tad was a man of many hats, with a million skills, on all sides of the spectrum. Surfer, writer, musician, painter, designer, artist, hard boot snowboarder, builder, teacher, carpenter, swimmer, and the founder of two companies. The first was Fantasy Furniture; a company that designed/built everything youd wish for in your room or your room to be as a child. Hanging plane chairs, castle bunk beds, race car beds, character chairs, custom paint jobs with themes of your desire etc. (yes my room was rad). He later founded Heathy Homes; a company which custom designed prefabs and airstreams for chemically sensitive patients to live in refuge from the toxicitys that hinder, and destroy their lives. In high school he was voted the most generous student who would hand out money to those in need. He was not your average man, he lived in a yacht for a period of his life, traveled cross the united states on a motorcycle, custom designed his jeep out of wood, and drove a van for his company Fantasy Furniture with a giant gorilla on the top of it. Above all he was the best father I could have been destine to have. He was a living example of authenticity, passion, creativity, individuality, strength, kindness, receptivity, and love. Without his guidance and influence, I would not be the person I am today. Happy Birthday daddio!
