Today I dug deep into my memory,.remembered how Juan used to cry during physio when we had to make him do stuff over again, and that got me through 8 and a half hours on my bike to do 95kms. Seeing his little face smiling along with his sister screaming her lungs out at the end was instant pain relief. To my husband Frans Du Plessis thank you deeply for enduring another 5 hours on a bike just for me...For feeding me and pushing me and loving me all the way around (except that one hill.lol). To our committee, Jason Herron Michelle Herron Nikki Stergiopoulos Shevaun McCreedy for all the hard work. To all our supporters on the road and water point volunteers, thank you deeply (best potatoes ever), to our sponsors and Ross Lester for raising 17k (top fundraiser this year ☺) for this cause, and then to every single SUPERHERO that gave it horns out there today!!
