Today I explained keto in the most lavish way possible. ( Listed all of the foods people normally think are bad for you. I was feeling like showing off after 42 pounds gone. Learned my lesson quick. ) Bacon, eggs, cheeses, cheeseburgers without the bun, butter, coconut oil, coffee, low carb high fat. So much fat. Oh man, so much bacon. I eat so much bacon. And so much butter. Did it for the shock value, but it ended up scaring the person I think. xD Even my fly-by explanation of It raises HDL and lowers LDL. It also increases particle size in cholesterol, so that you get the good larger artery sweeping particles. Lots of saturated fat. was kind of lazy and unconvincing. Next time Ill just say that I stopped eating sugar. I stopped eating sugar. Bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, root vegetables.... You know, sugar. ( Pause for their facial expression. ) I stay under 20g of carbs per day and the fat just falls off. For some reason, nobody questions eating less sugar. But eating more FAT?! Blasphemy! xD I think I accidentally offended their nutrional sensibilities and caused some cognitive dissonance. ( Uncomfortability. ) Whoops~! Lesson learned! And 43 pounds to go!
