Today I got a reality check or maybe it just hit me that my gram will never be the same. I mean the gram that I go over and sit with and watch her smoke and hell me the same stories. Or go over when she makes my favorite dinners or all the holidays when I go over so she can see the kids Halloween was always her favorite she loved to see them dressed up and would give them so much candy. When she would call me just to chat. I cant look at the time and it be 1030 pm and think gram has her glasses on on her pjs reading her enquirers! I remember when I would wake up when I lived with her ever morning she would be sitting at the table playing solitar drinking coffee with her pal mall smoking!!! I could go on with all the things I will miss but I honestly think it has hit me that she wont be the same anymore :( Im going to bed super heavy hearted tonight! Just thinking of her at hospice alone and scared and not knowing who she is or where she is or what is next. 💔
