Today I heard a great message by our pastor Glen Pearce about bringing lost people to Christ and sharing the gospel and it made me think about all the opportunities that Ive let slip past me to share the gospel with others. I recently was in Walmart and as I was walking to check out my items I saw an article on a magazine that had Robin Williams on it and the title was He could have been saved. As i saw the article I thought about it a little differently then the title probably intended for it to be read. The article probably intended to talk about how him committing suicide could have been prevented but I thought about it as he could have been saved if he had known Jesus Christ as his Savior (Im not saying that Robin Williams is in hell because I ultimately dont know his heart or his life but by his fruit I dont think he was saved). Seeing this made me think about all the opportunities that I pass by everyday where I dont share the gospel but instead say Ill do it tomorrow. We as Christians need to stop saying lets spread the gospel tomorrow and start doing it now. Lets stop passing up the opportunities to spread Christ and start taking every opportunity we have because we arent promised tomorrow and neither is anyone else. If we are supposed to love like Christ loved then we should spread the gospel with everyone. God has put you and me in the lives of others for a specific reason and that reason is to be a light to them and show them the way to salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. So lets do that! Lets be a light and share Christ with everyone and not pass up opportunities!
