Today I heard about one Blogger named Ahmed Nadir who claimed to be attacked and listed with 84 atheist bloggers. He also told Sweden government that Bangladesh police were trying to arrest him for blogging. Now he applied for Asylum in Sweden but surprisingly I never heard his name! I checked the list of 84 atheist and secular bloggers, the original Hitlist from Ansarullah Bangla team and personally I know most of the atheist and secular bloggers involved with blogging and Shahbag movement. And I also have contact with many of the bloggers who were attacked after Shahbag movement or arrested. He also claimed he was on the Hitlist of Fundamentalist groups. Anyways, I wish him best of luck. But as one of the senior blogger in Bangla blog platform, and connected with many bloggers, and working for ICT act (57), I should have knew his name and his works. I felt ashamed, how could I missed his blogs! How could I missed him? There are many secular and atheist bloggers are still in Bangladesh who are under death threats, under trial for blasphemous writings. I hope people involved in many humanist organization will support the secular and atheist bloggers who are really in danger.
