Today I joined Amanda Rishworth in speaking about the Abbott Governments cruel cuts to the Youth Connections program. This program has provided a vital link to young people who have not completed or are at risk of not completing year 12, to potential employers. Youth Connections has a 94% success rate, yet this Government is still cutting it. I call on the Abbott Government to continue funding Youth Connections beyond 2014 so that this program can continue delivering for the community.
