Today I lost one of my dear friends. An Aquarian brother. He became a major part of my life, as God would have it. We first met in 1981…officially, but we saw each other in passing a few years earlier. Anyway we clicked right away when we officially met in Dick Scotts office on W. 53rd and 7th Avenue, him and his twin brother. Then I came to know their older brother. Dick would come to manage both of our careers. And we would later make music together. Thirty 33 years is a long time. Well I guess I should give you their names: The twins - Taharqa and Tundera Aleem and their older brother Tajiddin Aleem. Now you know. Tundera is no longer with us as we have come to know him. But [we] will always remember him…and love him dearly. And he will always be remembered for co-writing and performing one of the baddest club records the world has known.
