Today, I proudly voted in favor of restoring pension cuts for military retirees. Our veterans serve honorably to keep our nation safe and I am pleased that Congress is honoring the commitment our country made to them. While I am not pleased with the short-term funding source, it is my hope that we find a solution that responsibly funds our government and the vital programs my constituents rely upon.
