Today I said goodbye to one of the craziest and mad boys I have ever had the pleasure to have in my heart and home. Its been 8 .5 years since Max came in to our lives. I saw him on second chance web site when I wasnt particularly looking for another dog, and thought I would go for a wee look. Max stole the show and a ride home in the car, by playing ball and fetching the slippers before sitting on two paws for his treat. Over the years he has patiently coped with all the children in the family, and when they cried he would cuddle in to them until he knew they were ok. Although some would say he was waiting for them to drop their food or dummy as he loved to steal.Max never sat down, his energy was endless right up till today; when what I thought was a routine vet appointment discovered a nasty tumour in his mouth. I was fortunate the vet waited until I arrived to let me say good bye. Run free crazy boy, will miss you xxxx
