Today I want to Thank each and everyone of you Facebook Friends that supported me during the 2014 USVI Gubernatorial Elections. It was important for me to discuss the Issues that affect US Virgin Islanders and do so objectively. 497 of you Inboxed me with your support and encouraging words and I wont ever forget that. I wont ever forget you. Some of you who I did not know before only a few weeks ago. Even a Bishop who doesnt usually get involved in Campaigns & Elections tracked my phone number down and called me. And priests and a monsignor Inboxed me with support after what they read on Facebook written by Brad Nugent and Eugene Petersen was not in line and truth with my life. Today I also thank Eugene Petersen and Brad Nugent for writing their two malicious posts about me that they did because their posts gave me courage I did not even know I had and their posts mobilized a myriad of important voting coalitions against Donna Christensen. I specifically thank Eugene Petersen for his comments on Brad Nugents post because when I asked Eugene Petersen squarely why he said those lies, he replied that he was not talking about me and said I was vain to think that he was talking about me in his comments. Eugene Petersen thought that since Brad Nugent and I are not Facebook Friends I would never see or find out about the lies he posted on Brads page in an attempt to weaken my posts on the Issues about Donna Christensen who they support. So when I asked Eugene Petersen it was easy for him to dismiss me. Except I have Facebook Friends and other friends in all places. The world has seen first hand how Eugene Petersen lied to me when I asked him why he wrote those comments yet tried to bury me on Brads page. Thanks to Eugene Petersen and Brad Nugent my support is stronger than ever and thanks to Eugene Petersen and Brad Nugent, Donna Christensen not only lost the gubernatorial election, but she lost with a whaling at the polls and with Governor Ken Mapp making history in winning the election with 65 percent of the vote which is the highest percentage since 1970 when US Virgin Islanders started voting for governors.
