Today I want to set the screaming and political battle aside and take a minute to to salute those who have fought to make sure we are still The United States of America. ________________________________________________________________ In the 1880s, my family migrated here from Europe to make a new life for themselves and be Americans. To my Grandfather who was with the Polar Bears in WW I, my Dad with the Navy in New Caledonia in WW II, his brother who flew a Corsair with the Marines off Vella Lavella in WW II and didnt come back. My oldest brother in law in Vietnam. Thank You gentlemen. Word cannot express my appreciation. There was no call for me to go to the military growing up but to you this vow; Till my last day I will fight in whatever way I can to help insure that the freedom you sacrificed and fought for will not be taken away from us.
