Today I was asked why I have decided to seek the Councillors seat in Ward One . The answer is not at all complicated !! Over the past four years our Ward has been left out of the equation by those who form the majority on council , roads continue to deteriorate , our family parks could use upgrading and or new amenities , and we need to find solutions to empty storefronts and empty schools .We must begin to implement our Neighborhood Plans throughout Fort Erie not only to improve the quality of life for citizens but to increase our visibility and attractiveness to residents wanting to locate in a community such as ours. There is so much to do and I must admit the task is daunting but I have a background of getting things done and for being a strong voice for Fort Erie at the provincial level. I suppose each candidate has had their moment , thinking whether its worth it, in this tough political climate and the advent of instant criticism on social media but the way I look at things is if you are working hard and making progress and you are winning more than you are losing and you keep Fort Erie in your heart and mind then you need not be worried about criticism at all. I for one look forward to the campaign and the challenges ahead !!
