Today, I was at the food court at East Towne Mall. A lady, one table over, came back to the table looking for a black bag. She had a face of fear. The people who were now sitting at the table told her that there was no black bag at the table when they sat down. We couldnt do anything for this lady as the mall was just packed. Who ever took it is probably long gone. She was in a panic. I felt horrible for her. So I just started praying for her, thats all I could do. A few minutes later, I finished my lunch and walked to the garbage can to put away my tray...and...what do you know?...there it was...a shiny black bag (I think from the Buckle). It was sitting in the garbage can!! I saw the lady talking to a security guard. I yelled across the isle for her. She came over and I pointed to the bag, is that it? She literally jumped into my arms saying thank you, thank you, thank you. I said, I saw you in your panic and all I could do was pray, pray, pray. After we said those words we were both speechless and realized we were two complete strangers hugging each other in the middle of the food court. The power of prayer brought two people together in a Christmas moment Ill never forget.
