Today I was lucky enough to be pampered with a Pure Fiji - New Zealand Guava Nourishing Wrap from the gorgeous ladies at About Face in Ponsonby. This wrap was to say the least, incredible. First I lay face down and they put Pure Fiji heat packs on my muscles to help relax my body. Then a warmed milk bath was drizzled over my body to prepare my skin for the sugar rub. They applied the sugar rub and then wrapped me in warm steamed towels. Then I had the most amazing Pure Fiji Lomilomi back massage which was so relaxing and really helped my sore muscles from my recent workouts. And then they applied an all-over body mask – and this is when the magic really happened. The smell was absolutely divine and the mask is rich in Vitamin C extract from Guava, as well as Vitamin K which is amazing for dark circles, spider veins, acne, as well as helping to keep skin looking young and firm. And as if this wasn’t enough, I turned over onto my back so that I could enjoy it all again on the front of my body. The gorgeous girls also gave me the most amazing warm foot mask before completely wrapping me up tightly like a cocoon. Next was the heavenly hair scalp ritual with the most amazing warm oils. Incredible!! And my hair was raked, combed and twisted - a fantastic relaxing experience. If any of you are thinking you need to treat yourself, I couldn’t recommend this pampering enough. It was the most divine 75minutes of non-stop treatments that left my skin feeling amazingly fresh and actually firmer. And I was so relaxed Has anyone had one of these blissful treatments before?
