Today I was reading Josh Linkner’s blog post titled, “THE BRILLIANCE OF BREVITY, where he retold the story of Hemingways bet with fellow authors. While drinking heavily in a smoked filled bar, Hemingway bet them that he could tell a story in only six words, and once everyone at the table agreed to participate he wrote his story on the back of a napkin and handed it around the table. Hemingway won that bet and Historians now consider it to be one of his best works. The story read, “For Sale. Baby Shoes. Never Worn.” In the spirit of Hemingway, the tradition of the six word story continues nearly a hundred years later. My challenge to you is to come up with a sixish word story and post it here. No cheeting and using one you read on Google. Brevity is the key! Here is my attempt, hopefully it makes sense: Due diligence surrounded by trials. Success! joshlinkner/2015/brilliance-brevity/?utm_source=January+12%2C+2015&utm_campaign=The+Brilliance+of+Brevity
