Today, I went market to buy some stuff. I passed near the ‘Arabic herbs’ shop. I thought a second & then entered the furnished shop, which can beat any modern shop. A Saudi herb doctor was sitting on the counter. He smiled. We exchanged regards then I asked him ‘do you have anything to reduce ‘belly fat’? You can see my belly fat is increasing day by day’. He laughed. Saudis never miss a chance to laugh on anything, although most of them do not laugh on others to insult them. He told me, ‘I give you just one advice, replace sugar with honey, you eat whatever you want, if you want to drink tea or coffee, you may drink but have them with honey not with sugar, do it for one month & then come back to me, perhaps you also have gas-problem, you will get rid of gas-problem very much by using honey instead of sugar for sure’. And expatriates consider mostly Saudis are duffers.
