Today Im going to tell you all about Ocean Rafting! I recently enjoyed the Southern Lights tour on Ocean Rafting while I was in Airlie Beach and had a blast! We departed the Coral Sea jetty at 10am which was amazing because lets face it, who wants to be getting up at the crack of dawn on your weekend away! We then enjoyed a scenic cruise around to Hill Inlet where we did a guided walk from Tongue Bay to the lookout and down to Hill Inlet. We then went snorkelling at Honeymoon Island (quite fitting given I got engaged that day) and then went to Whitehaven Beach for some fun! I must say, it was such a great day and it would really suit everyone - families, couples, groups of friends, also great for work functions and social clubs! The thing I liked most about Ocean Rafting is that the boats are open air so you feel like youre in the heart of the action (rather than an air conditioned cabin). On your next weekend in Airlie, you should definitely consider a trip on Ocean Rafting! I dont think it would even be out of the question to go up and back from Mackay on a day trip (given it departs at 10am and returns at 4:30pm). We always hear people saying theres nothing to do in Mackay but really our area has so much to offer! If youd like more info or to check availability give us a call! - Get out an enjoy it!
