Today Im thankful for choosing CCU. Im thankful that my brother and his friends went searching the dorms for all the hot freshman and came back with a fellow long islander. Kait and I didnt know it then, but we met our best friend that first day of school. Im thankful for our north vs south fight with our original roommates who moved out so lily could be our third suite mate. Im thankful that lil happily volunteered (during finals no less) to foster five 1 week old puppies so that I could adopt Tonka. (There may be a few unthankful parents out there who wound up with a new pup that summer) Im thankful for countless nights out and even better nights in. Im thankful for an unbreakable bond between roommates that still stands strong today ever though we dont see each other 24/7. Im thankful for the flight to the Cayman Islands ❤️ I laugh until it hurts just telling that story. (Shaggy gets it) I am thankful that I had the opportunity to watch you grow stronger and more beautiful every year that I have known you. I am the most thankful that Peyton got to meet you. We are all thankful to have had you in our life. Whether for a lifetime, or just a quick shot at the bar...you made an impact on everyone who crossed your path. There will be a lot of blue moons and pumpkin ales toasted in your honor today. Beautiful Lily 💛 gone but absolutely never ever forgotten.
