Today, Kiwanis Board member Brandon Janshen invited himself to join us for lunch and to speak about the results of a recently circulated club survey. We had a group discussion about where our organization is and where we want it to be -- lots of good feedback that our Membership Committee will take to the drawing board in hopes of growing our group to an even higher level of awesome. (Since I am normally responsible for taking the photos of our guests for these posts, I tried a selfie -- Jenna did not approve and was kind enough to take a photo of me striking my best model pose ... I included both photos for a free chuckle at my own expense ... good thing I took some time to do my hair this morning) Lunch Menu: Chicken salad bar and garlic toast ... healthy and satiating! We were joined by Key Clubber Dylan M. who is looking to help facilitate the facebook interactions between our two groups. Sports Report: Group report in Jims absence. Niki gave a follow-up report for the wrestling concessions -- 15 Kiwanians helped out ... 55 hours volunteered! Nice work everybody! BUG (Bring-Up-Grades) Program: scheduled to have a pizza party for the qualifying kiddos at Garfield School and Sacred Heart on January 31st. Great meeting today -- See you next Monday!
