Today NPR News spoke to Senator Jon Tester and Lesa Evers, Tribal Relations Manager at the Montana Dept. of Public Health and Human Services, about the importance for Native Americans to sign up the Affordable Care Act. “I think people need education first. They need to understand it from people they trust. And thats how, you know, people communicate in Indian country. Its a lot about what your friends say and what your familys saying” said Evers.
