Today almost beat me! It started slow but gathered momentum like an out of control snowball! 2 hours at the Private Hospital visiting Kim after his op yesterday, where I helped make the bed and wash his leg because the staff were run off their feet. Coop had 2 extra kids at home all day, then the Christmas Party this afternoon at the pool. It was great to catch up with everyone, but I broke a filling in my tooth while eating popcorn! After I brought the kids home I was up to the Base Hospital for 2 1/2 hours with Sarah- with abdo pain and a fever. I popped home and texted to check on the kids and texted to tell Kim I didnt think I was going to make it back up to see him tonight. And finally I was back to pick up Sarah again at 11pm. We have one extra sleeping over tonight, and theyve been eating pizza and playing the X-Box, but finally the light is out and the house is quiet. Sarah has gone to bed, and Im sitting in my room in the stillness. And I remind myself that I survived yet another crazy day and no animals were harmed in the filming of this episode! We all have days like this, and sometimes weeks, months and years like this (yes its been a difficult one for us all). But we are all still standing. We DID survive. Its a beautiful night and its almost Christmas, and I still have my sense of humour. And I figured hell, my next life is going to be a breeze! Might even get to bed early since its midnight, and that way I can avoid a few more crises... or hopefully sleep through them and wake up on the other side having missed all the excitement, and wonder what all the fuss was about. Have a good sleep everyone. You might just need it! Lol. ❤️❤️❤️
