Today at noon Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Front Royal, Virginia will meet as they do every Friday but meeting isnt all they do... all year long they work to raise awareness and money for worthwhile projects in our wonderful community and all over the world while living the motto Service above Self. Our LOCAL Visitor Center will assist the hundreds of visitors from all over the world who walk through their doors by sharing with them all of the amazing things this little community has to offer. Tonight the Blue Ridge Arts Council will host their final Gazebo Gathering of the season at 7 pm featuring a great LOCAL band - The Vinyl Tracks. Vinyl Tracks is a classic rock band based in Front Royal, VA. They dish out an eclectic mix of 60s, 70s and 80s music, and a terrific All Beatles Tribute Show! Vinyl Tracks has played hundreds of gigs at taverns, festivals and private events in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. These concert happen all summer long every year and are free and open to the public. On Saturday, one of my favorite LOCAL organizations Humane Society of Warren County has organized a new and exciting fundraiser called Waggin for Dragons. Nothing like this has happened in our region, its unique and a great use of our natural resources. Visit their Facebook for all the details.
