Today at work I was doing my normal routine when of all things the theme to Love Boat TV show pops into my head. I’m thinking, what on earth is wrong with me? Maybe it means it’s time to buy a radio. I let the song bounce around my twisted brain for a while when it hit me. It’s time for a TV show with a cruise ship in it. Only Scott’s Cruise Ship From Hell is not going to be a Love Boat. Instead, this comedy will have a different catastrophic disaster every week. For example, the generators breakdown causing a power outage, fire in the control tower causing the ship to go out of control, food borne illness, tsunami, hurricane, kitchen nightmares, iceberg, giant octopus, crash into the Exxon Valdez, aliens, or German WWII sub, you get the idea. But wait, there’s more, along with the weekly disaster there will be a different theme each week such as, the Griswold’s vacation, Scary Movie, cruising with Bernie, comicon, The Big Bang Theory, Gorden Ramsey saves the kitchen, vampires, Duck Dynasty, the list of possibilities are endless. The crew would be the same every week with the exception of a few that die in the confusion. The passengers would be from the theme, an assortment of people from movies and TV, and a few that are there week after week. With a little creativity this could be a real blast. What do you all think?
