Today, behind Namukolo church Muslims have built a domitary for young Zambian girls who have been enlisted in their school and their presence around the premises is very evident as you see them walk in great numbers behind the veils.its a very sad state of affairs,what do you think David Livingstone would have felt if he came back to life and saw this? A place he once fought for with all his life now turns out to be a Muslim dominated area.Its here that most of his workers (disciples) lost their lives because of sleeping sickness.I give credit to David Livingstone even for the peace that we so enjoy and brag about as Zambians because Livingstone died on his knees praying for mother Zambia.If you trace the rout where he stepped, peace prevails all the way unlike for his other colleagues with due respect ,like Robert mophat where war with other inhuman atrocities prevails. At one time David Livingstone addressed a group of students at Glasgow University.When he rose to speak, he bore on his body the marks of his African struggles.Several illnesses on nearly thirty occasions had left him gaunt and haggard. His left arm,crushed by a lion,hung limb by his side.After describing his trials and tribulations he said,Would you like to have me tell you what supported me through all these years of exile among people whose language i could not understand, and whose attitude toward me was always uncertain and often hostile? it was this, Lo,I am with you always, even unto the end of this world. On these words I asked everything, and they never failed.Christians wake up!!!
