Today has been a day full of reflection and lots of happy/sad tears. My sweet granny met Jesus on this date and oh, how I miss her! This time last year we were struggling with infertility and receiving my final chance of hormone stimulation since my levels were severely low. On this date, I received word from our doctor that my body had responded well to the hormone shots I had been taking and a few days ahead of schedule. ☺ The sweet nurse was excited and reported that I had one nice, big follicle and a small one...there was a 25% chance I could get pregnant since we chose not to do IVF. (not Gods plan for us) I was shocked and thrilled that my last and final injection would be on my grannys going to heaven date and maybe God would work a miracle on her special day!! Well, God answered our prayers!!! This morning, I held sweet Taylor extra close, kissed his sweet head and thanked God for every hardship!!! This miracle has blessed our lives so much and I cannot thank God enough. Last Sunday, we sang Great is Thy Faithfulness at church. I cried my eyes out as I could sing this song and understand that even in the good times and and the five years of longing for a baby and experiencing deep sadness, that God was faithful EVERY day!!! Thank you Lord!!
