Today has been a great day. Hannah went to school with dexter. Teachers loved it. The teachers loved the fact they could monitor Hannah and watch the trending arrows and act prior to hypo if needed from their desk. Due to the current insulin regime we on we are having a few hypos fingers crossed it changes tomorrow when we see the paediatrician. Last night at about 0130 the low alert alarm went off (set to 4.5 for school days so they can act prior to hypos if needed) normally during her nights we are at our lowest around 3-4am so it was really good to see the trending low prior when normally we thought she is ok. Hannah had a few issues with the extra tape we placed on to keep it held in place so a quick change to another tape and that has seemed to fix it. There were a couple of things that we saw that could pose a problem with children playing with it. It seems really easy to change alarms on and off, change sounds etc. wondering if its worth the feedback to have a section that requires a pin code to adjust setting etc? Overall Hannah still loving her dexter and looking forward to the rest of the trial.
